Another True Story by an eRipples Subscriber
I recently discovered the true value of living while my fraternity brothers
and I were helping out at a neighborhood home for mentally and emotionally
handicapped kids. After a day of playing with the kids was wrapping up, one of the older kids
began to cry. I asked him what was wrong. He responded, "because you're
leaving." It was at that moment that I realized in only a few hours I had made a huge
impact on some one's life. Since that day, I have found it much easier to
smile.

I am so happy that this world is filled with people who believe in the
power of creating ripples. This weekly splash of inspiration is becoming a
testament to the power of individual impact. Our planet of 6 billion
individuals has an urgent need for us to understand that EACH ONE OF US
COUNTS!
