Life at any time can become difficult: life at any time can become easy.
It all depends upon how one adjusts oneself to life.

We need to remember that the wind moves the trees,
the trees do not move the trees.
When it comes to embracing change,
we would do well to stop trying to control everyone and everything
and start learning how to be aerodynamic.

Last week I enjoyed another fun day with my friends at Procter &
Gamble (on the plane ride home I shared Pringles and squirted
Fabreeze!). We spent some time exploring new ways to face and
embrace the many changes that constantly unfold around us. It
reminded me that change can be difficult, frustrating, scary and
ultimately EXCITING if we approach it with the right attitude. I
hope the quotes above serve as a gentle nudge that while we often
attempt to control the situation and people around us, real control
comes from accepting: we cannot change them, we cannot change many
of the circumstances we encounter, but we can change us! So, if you
are resisting an upcoming (or already here!) transition; let go of
fixing everyone else and hold on to enjoying the ride!

Peace,
Paul
