PONDER ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I finished my spring speaking tour with a three-day adventure in LaCrosse,
Wisconsin to be a part of the annual conference for the National
Association of College and University Residence Halls. I had the honor of
hearing a fellow speaker, Kathy Humphrey, give a transformational address
that is STILL bouncing around my head and my heart. As she spoke about the
SOUL of leadership, Kathy had us at one point chanting "It's in the
KNOWING, It's in the BEING, It's in the DOING" and then she artfully
expanded those points into the heart (and soul!) of her speech. I hope
you'll take a moment to think about YOUR leadership style. Which of these
can you work on this week?
I have so many more stories to tell you about this last two weeks of
speaking, but I have all summer to share little tidbits so I'll say Happy
Memorial Day!
