PEBBLE ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
You see things and you say, "Why?"
But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
-George Bernard Shaw, submitted by Mary K. Gurney
BOULDER ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Great ideas come through the world as gently as doors.
Perhaps then, if we listen attentively,
we shall hear amid the uproar of empires and nations
a faint flutter of wings, the gentle stirring of life and hope.
-Albert Camus
PONDER ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I had an incredible experience in Milwaukee this weekend when a group
of phenomenal individuals agreed to give up a few days of their
already full lives to help me brainstorm the future of Ripples. They
started as a collection of past clients, former co-workers,
classmates, and friends. They quickly transformed into a powerful
team of dreamers who imagined a world where people spent just a
little more time being nice to themselves and to others. Some of the
ideas we brainstormed will be extremely challenging to implement, and
I remain full of hope about the possibilities....you'll be hearing
more about some of these ideas soon!
In the meantime, here is an idea for YOU: search your past and
present for a handful of creative, dynamic, intriguing people and
invite them to an evening of WHAT IF....
Peace to you,
Paul
